Just letting you all know that my stepdads purple ‘67 Fury III 4-door sedan known as “The Bear” is now on bringatrailer. It ends in 6 days on May 22nd at 5:11PM. I personally want, and hope that a member of the forum buys it. But if anyone knows whose looking for a hotrod 4 door Fury please let me know. Here is the link and a few pictures my stepdad took of the car, happy bidding!

Only 1 day left to go for bidding on the car on bringatrailer, it ends tomorrow evening at 5:11PM EST. The high bid is currently $800.00, bid by a fellow called madmaddog. My stepdad says that if it does not sell, he plans to bring it to Carlisle next year and put it in the car corral.

Well folks, the bear unfortunately did not sell. It is still in our possession for now. It was only bid up to $4,800. My stepdad says it will more than likely end up going to Carlisle next year to be put in the car corral, but he still has to decide what he is going to do.

Yeah it is. We really did hate to see it go because my stepdad has had it for 40 years since 1984 and saved it from death, but he didn’t have anymore room for it since he bought a red ‘67 Coronet 500. It was for sale for at least 6 months, but it went to a new caretaker who was ecstatic about it and who will take the best care of it like my stepdad did. It basically in our opinion went to the right person which is what we wanted, so we feel better about it leaving.
