Looks like it's on st joesph Missouri craigslist so...probably in that area roughly

Howdy I like this one, unfortunately by looking at the tire this was sunk in the dirt deep, most likely floor and rails will need help. On the bright side it comes with chains to pull it on my trailer.

Wasn't there a black Polara in Missouri that ended up with the demo crowd, leaving some kicking themselves?

my biggest concern. That thing lookes like it spent time belly in the dirt. I wrote seller couple days ago. No reply.

hell, last year I scrapped TWO '69 300 verts (one left that i probably SHOULD scrap too) because literally ALL the folks (with me for 40 years) who have been doing my underside body work (e.g., frame rails, stubs, floorpans, etc, especially on factory-reinforced unibodies) are dead or retired. Not kidding.

These new "body" guys? At least the ones in my geography, aint worth/dont give a damn. Nice folks, I can have a beer with 'em and regale them with "old man with a hat" stories, but they aint remotely into the old iron. No matter how much $$$ they are offered.

anyway, maybe somebody else will step up on this one, whatever its real condition. were it to need excessive underside remediation work, it would be a parts car to me. more than $1,500 of value to me relative the "horses in the barn" that I have.

Well, if it does in fact show to be bad underneath, and not worth saving, at least YOU should get it and use it to save others - rather than some me-too B&E-body guy who'll put the engine in some me-too bellybutton high-impact-colored seen one, seen 'em all B or E-body that the world needs no more clones of.

long standing policy of mine. seller wont return a couple attempts to reach them, they'll never hear from me again.

yeah, kinda childish on my part, but im old and dont care.. :poke:

it'll find a new home

Those 10-spoke wheels that I posted the other day on here, that I recently got locally - I was ready to give up on him and he came right at the end of my patience.
So you never know if a time-extension might pay off?

But I would imagine this seller is *swamped* with time-wasters and people wanting to seal the deal by saying 'I'll come right over with cash' when they haven't even seen it.
I hate both ends of that spectrum.

DL23L9D131810 (if I read correctly)

I'm reading that # also.

I bet its more solid then my DM23L9 car and I wouldnt let it go for anywhere near what that guys asking. Hell the '69 E440hp engine is worth what hes asking for the complete car.

Per the white books Dodge only built 0.1% or 22 DL23L9 cars. So its an incredibly rare car for a steal.
