How to get the taillight bulbs out? Can i unscrew them from inside the trunk, or do I have to pull the lenses? Doesn't look like they want to come out from inside the trunk, but then how would you pull the housings out otherwise?

You might need a right angle pick tool (this picture is a set from Amazon) to help snap the lamp housing out of the tail light housing, after getting some penetrating oil in there (PB Blaster, Kroil, or Liquid Wrench, etc).
Will wd40 or pb blaster work?
