Any floor pan replacements available for a 69 Polara? Looks like I might need the front ones soon

A recent thread in here on some Classic2Current pan items. Check them out.

What's wrong with them? Better than rusty floors I guess?

Not much better.

Their stuff is misrepresented as being correct. In truth, it's flat sheet that doesn't fit. Some guys have made their crap work, but I always hear that it was more effort and time than making the parts from scratch.

I wasted more $$ and time on some of their junk for a '53 Chrysler I had. Some of their stuff wasn't even close in fit and it was poorly done, high school metal shop quality. But, it's your money to waste and your car.

A video showing just some of their stuff.

Hmm I guess it's not worth the trouble then. Are they the only ones right now?

Do the "search" for front floorpan and you'll see a picture of the C2C item. Make your own judgment.

I guess if it's under the rug anyway I can just have someone do it out of sheet metal.

Since the c2c fit so badly anyway, what about using something like a Road Runner floor patch? Could that work with some modification?

I spent less time ( and money) fabricating my own C body floor panels compared to making the gawd awful repops " fit".
Licence plates and stop signs are thicker than the C2C garbage. Lol!
Besides, I had more fun making my own.
Plus knowing my car is more structurely sound is a good piece of mind.

The c2c stuff is garbage and not even a good starting point, for the amount of effort and cost you might as well start from raw sheet metal stock.

Are the Road Runner or Charger floors also that junk c2c as well? I wonder if they could be adjusted to fit somehow

Most likely junk as well, the panels are thin, any dimples etc are faint at best, folds are not close to where they need to be…………………..

Are there any other brands with the Charger etc.? Especially left and right front floor pans? My body shop guy wants me to get them and then he modifies them to work in my car, as opposed to fabricating them

The c2c panels are not even a good starting point, probably more work than raw sheet metal as you have to undo the bends that are not even close.
If you only need portions of them then you might get away with using portions.
Any hope that this will save your body man work is futile.

Ok thx
So the Charger or Road Runner floor pans are only c2c and nothing else?

Can you post a pic of what floors you need? I still have some pieces from a '73 Chrysler that will fit '69-73. Not complete floors but these might be useful for the sections you need to replace.
