Curiosity got the best of me. Model T's weighed around 1200#
Really not a lot to them and probably most of the weight on the front. Probably not too bad for a strong guy with a good wheelbarrow, but I could see how the two guys would be needed to keep it balanced. The Model T frame was flexible by design too, so that might make it even harder to balance.

Pic is dated 1915 and the first lifting tow truck wasn't invented until 1916!

Most likely a locked up rear end. I can't help but wonder how far he walked with that wheelbarrow.
 
I really wanted to find out more about this, but there's nothing out there about it.

Turned the service station into a drive through. With that load on the trailer, it could have turned into a scene from "Final Destination".
