Looking to purchase a super light switch for my 69 Polara. Can anyone put me on to this ??? I have read lit. galore but no real parts

Super light

As posted in the other thread, do you need NOS or will used do? Curious, convertible or hardtop?

I would LOVE NOS but will take used for sure. Just for clarity, I have the light and all items at the grill area. I'm missing the switch and any under dash wiring (relay and related matl.) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !!!

My car IS a Convertible, from Nevada....Big block, power windows, power brakes and bucket seats w/ armrest...Thanx, Rog

Roger, i have a complete used underdash harness and i believe under hood harness with all relays....... i also have the switch for a convert/wagon/rear defogger equipped car....... wait, let me verify the switch and dash bezel.

I am still looking for a proper sized box for Carstens trim rings.....

o.k, I have the superlite switch/bezel and harness's however they are for a 1970. The 1969 had the ignition switch on the dash and the flasher switch was also on the dash panel so I dont believe it will simply work. You would probably have to modify the 69 harness or have someone build a harness using the two as templates and the relays..... Keep trying for that 69 Harness.
The good thing is the 69 superlite stuff is much easier to locate than the 1970 pieces..
Again, using the 1970 parts book because I dont have a 69 the harness is the same for ALL superlite equipped cars regardless of body type or options

Super light saga continues

But you have the working superlite .........

I have the grill portion of the light (light, grill portion, bulb, housing etc.) but that's all. I assume it's grounded right there and the hot line goes to the bulk head. The previous owner included a dbl. relay and dimmer switch with a cut pig tail. That's all I have. I hot wired the light to the battery and it works. I also have another super light canister without the bulb. I dont know if it gets power from the head lights or dimmer??Still looking. polara71, any help, help, help is greatly appreciated....thank you, Rog

I'm glad some one knows of these "strange Lights" .....Rumor has it that you really aren't truly cool unless you'r equipped with one . I asked superman himself !!!!!...........ha

Thanks again Dave !!!!!

I was referring to Fratzog with the working Superlite......

The two relays is what makes the light go off when you click to high beams, all five lights can NOT be on at the same time if wired as the factory did.
The 69 light and mounting bracket are completely different than the 70. . . . . . . I guess I gotta pull the harness out that I have and perhaps take some photos....... where are you located?

I'll take that set up for the super light if it's for sale....Please let me know....thanx, Rog
