Ain't nothing "high compression" about a 74 400, but that is certainly a nice car for that fair price

Yes, It must have a VIN CL23N4C... a real stripped down car. It would have left the factory as a slick top too. It's wearing a period aftermarket landau top treatment. Only "halo" tops were available from the factory in 74.

Remove the vinyl, simply drop in a 500/502, leave on granpa's wheel covers...
Gentleman's muscle car. Completely stealth.

Or just sell the sob cause I have a 74 imperial to drive lol.... Replaced the ac lines and compressor shaft seal today on the imp... no more leaks !

Crap, if that were an A/C car, I'd be calling on it for real! Next best thing to a Royal Monaco coupe. That's a nice car.

The top looks wrong now that its been mentioned but that is a really fair price on a nice coupe. Green interior also looks unusual.

There's a dodge dealer here in Hardin and the 80 year old man here that owns it and is still 100% sane swears that top was an option.. I believe him cause he ordered and sold cars like that 36-40 years ago (74-78 newports). Top is dark green like interior. He says it's factory. Set of 3" duals and some nice 16" wheels and it's a cruiser

Your in luck, I have a 74 imperial parts car you can rob all the components you need to install ac in that car

No money in the world would be enough for me to do that conversion. I'll pay for another car first if I had to have A/C.

And that style roof never, ever, came from the factory.
Very desirable car but stick to Lincolns and leave the facts to us :D

Right. Because an 80 year old man that has sold chryslers his entire life wouldn't know a damn thing would he? Geez how silly of me.... As for the ac conversion. I don't blame you for not wanting to do one on a Chrysler . They are complex. It's not like doing a 70's Chevy car or truck where everything is cable operated

He's 80 years old fer crissakes. And a car salesman all his life at that. Come on... :D
He's told so many lies, fiction becomes fact. His lips are still moving.
It's an aftermarket roof plain and simple. There's nothing wrong with that. Just don't insist that it's factory. OK?
And please take note of my Good Natured Smileys...
