That car is gorgeous and the owner used to post on this board, photographer I think.

Couldn't build it for less.

No Stan, if you don't like it you don't have to buy it. If I had bunches of money I think I might go for a closer look at it.

Matt, considering the state of C-body fair market values, you don't feel that's way overpriced? Even putting aside taste preferences?

I hate to butt in here but it's not simply a C body at this point. It's a very nicely executed resto mod that transcends the make and model

Not too many doors on this one, nothing wrong with 4 door hdtps, love em!

I don't see it either. Unless we're talking about a from-scratch custom, I think of mods as adding zero value over the base value you would see on a stock car in the same condition. That's a nice car and I'd be proud to drive it, but if it had been restored to that same level would we be considering it a $20k car?

I think the seller might get close to that. Assuming the quality of the paint and body work is up to snuff, and everything on the car works, I can see $20K on it. Mid-'$20s might be stretching things, but this IS a pretty damn nice car. Tastefully lowered cars with conservative wheels and nice paint will bring the money, as more and more people start to appreciate the work that goes into these. Personal taste aside, some on this forum would ***** if it were a nuts-and-bolts resto, numbers-matching-air-in-the-tires style build. for half that.

You are all blinded by the overexposed pics of that dayglo blue paint. There is nothing extraordinary about that car. Beyond the shiny paint, you would be saying $6k tops

When I build my own similar car I know its going to cost a heck of a lot more than 6K. I might not pay 20K for this car but there's some real value in what he's done to it.
