I know this isn't a C body. I wanted to get it on here in case someone wanted it. Long story short on the car is this. I take care of an elderly lady. Her home has been sold. This car is hers. It has a good title. It has sat for a long time. It is restorable or it is a good parts car. Her son was taking it and has changed his mind so it is going to scrap. I hate to see that happen if the car or parts can be used. It has 5, maybe 7 days, until it has to leave the property. If you need parts, let me know. I will grab a few parts off of it, if it does not sell whole. The car is in West Palm Beach, Florida. I can be reached by PM. I will only sell the car for cash when it is picked up. It can't be held. It is being sold at to you for the same amount the scrap yard will give for it. It does run, but can't be driven.

I always liked those cars....

Too far away (thank god) and a little too rough for me. That needs to find a home.

It could always be striped out, painted flat black and have a 440 put in it. No one would know what it is.

EIUW. That puppy haz been hurt in the butt. If it's been converted from the original FI to Carburetorted It's worth every penny and more. If not, Send it to China like all the other scrap steel that once waz produced here!

Did you post this on the FMJ body site? If anyone needs parts, it's them...

Man that is ugly.
Never seen rust there before.
Damn those were some bad times in Engineering.

And to think those came down a separate line and were hand assembled to higher tolerances.
A perfect example of Chrysler's low point and why they were in bankruptcy.

A perfect example of Chrysler's low pint and why.

I grew up in the rust belt...that trunk rot is very common for all cars that had the large trunk overhang styling (Cordobas, Panther LTDs etc...). In the right conditions with salt they all had it.

Too funny. My friend bought one few mints ago. I'm constantly working on it however it is in perfect shape. He get so many complements on the car it's crazy. It's a 83 mark cross edition.

These Imps have serious. rust issues.
The instrument panel is a nightmare.
The FI system was total garbage.
The rest of the car still showed its B-body heritage.
Most of the car was designed to use up the remaining stock in the existing parts bin.
Yet I would like to have one.

It has been converted to a Thermoquad by what used to be Florida Chrysler, Plymouth. It is on the FMJ site.

They do have some elements that make the Overall look quite interesting. Front end has some Cord elements, and the taillight assembly isn't bad either. I remember These were discussed in Collectible Automobile Mag. as future collectibles when they were new.
Not yet it seems. Even Franky couldn't do it.

Can't believe a dealership hung a t-quad on it when they converted it. That waz a 17 hour conversion by the factory trained mechanicz. New headz, new intake and carb, fuel cell, pump and linez, and new gages, and harness in the dash, and my memory bankz tell me I'm missin' some other stuff. I've only heard rumors what Leedo paid for the entire conversion but just the pieces went for about $2500 as told to me from friendz that were in the corp. at that time. And back then I read the TSB that went out to all the dealerz and I laughed for dayz

Thanks for bringing that up, Jer. Chrysler got their lunch eaten by that FI system. The conversion was a total headache. It wasn't simply swapping in a TQ and go. I wonder if any heads rolled over that one. Actually I doubt it. The monolithic structure of auto manufacturers is such that the ultimate responsibility for anything falls on a guy so high up he can deflect the blame.
GM firing 13 people for the ignition switch fiasco has to be an industry first!
