1960 Plymouth Convertible - $125000 (Durham, NC)

I'm aiming for the top with mine. These cars are not a cheap or easy restoration. My cost advantage is that I can do most of it myself, but parts and services are still prohibitive. I've been collecting NOS and slowly refinishing trim for a couple of years now, plus my car is a complete, low mileage original in decent shape.

It will probably be my last big HORAH......!

Will.

I hope to do a Forward Look some day.

We all have a Last Harah I hope.
Today I sat down on a milk crate and I seriously stared at the Newport.
For a very long time.

i love the cap locks approach!!!!!!!! Very rare way to try to sell a car!!!!!!!!!

The repetition approach works well for selling too, as well as for training parrots.

Who pays that much?

Folks with the money to afford them. These cars are bargains compared to some exotic's and big Classic's.
If I had the means I wouldn't hesitate to pay those prices. They are even down a little from several years back so I'm seeing a recovery. I tried to buy my first 61 Fury convertible in 1965 for under 2K.

Why are all these FL cars being listed in the C body for sale section, We do have a Forward Look thread, as well as a "non C body car" for sale....... No big deal, just curious.

I'm sure it just habit.

Actually I'm leaning to putting them in the general discussion thread or the FL forum.

Ads technically should probably be reserved for someone actually coming here to sell THEIR car vs people posting other peoples cars for discussion.

I don't mind folks posting "links" to ads found on the internet. It's a great way to network. I see stuff i'd have never see otherwise.
It should be kept in the relm of interest here though. I for one don't want to see ads for VW's, jeeps or other non interesting items like that.

I concur. But that's not what I'm talking about.

The ad forum should be for people posting their items for sale IMHO. The CL ads are more of a general discussion item and are currently treated as such .. it's just that they are in the ad forum instead of the general discussion forum.
