How about Lars corp. they advertise in Hemmings that they have a lot of hard to find brake, chassis & suspension parts

They don't have one.......Cardone doesn't have one. No one has a booster for a Formal.
As I said, you might be able to call Cardone and have them R/R one for you. It's that or find a donor car. No Formal boosters available anywhere on the planet.

You might be able to find a local rebuilder. Here in Phoenix we have a truck brake and axle place that will rebuild boosters and master cylinders.

Shame. Cardone must be making more money on Nishondata crap.
Everyone advertises boosters, AAP, AZ, NAPA, Rock Auto.....they even have a price and a core. When you try to purchase it the answer is NONE IN STOCK. I've even called Cardone and they don't have one. I've been looking for one for my Newport.... got one from Demo13.
Cardone doesn't produce any new boosters and they don't get any cores in for Formal's to rebuild anymore. Maybe a local shop as pointed out in a previous point or try to call Cardone and have it rebuilt.

CarID is claiming in-stock. Booster only. Got to finalize the order, but I don't need the part nor to spend $90 for no reason.

I just called the Cardone R/R department (800-394-9656) and he said they don't deal with the public and you have to go through one of their customers (AAP, AZ, etc.) and fill out an A1 Cardone R/R form. Then it would be sent to Philly or Texas and would be disassembled to see what parts it actually needs. If, and I say if they have the parts to fix it, it'll take 3-5 days to rebuild and then they send it back to AAP, AZ, etc.
If anyone goes that route please post the journey on this forum. I haven't replaced the booster on my Newport yet, so once I do that I'll send mine in for an R/R and post the results. I'm not going to send the known good one I got from Demo 13 and then find out that they don't have the parts or can't put it back together.
I just called them 888-577-6964......they don't have one and they said they'll update their website.
