"Chrysler Imperial Lebaron. VIN #YM23T4C152147. This car has many rare features (contact me for details). Fewer than 150 with Factory Powered Moon Roof. Car is all original except for dual exhausts with chrome tips. It is straight, clean and has 88,071 miles. Car starts, idles, and drives immediately. It drives like a dream -- arrow straight down the highway - truly a luxury car! As far as I know, everything works on it other than the AC may need charged. Car has lots of original documentation, including the Factory Build Sheet and the Factory Moon Roof packet with information and key.
Price - $ 12,000 OBO"

These "moon roofs" never took off in the US, probably because of a/c as a widely available option. They were the poor European's a/c and ordered way more often over here. The founder of ASC , American Sunroof Corp. H. Prechter originally immigrated after a couple of years with the largest German manufacturer of sun roofs, the Golde company. He started his business by selling and installing them from door to door at the homes of the car owners.

What's the difference between sun- and moonroof anyways, glass top or sth ?

It's worth six grand tops.
With almost 90k miles, 45 hundred is more like it.

EDIT: I reread the description and the A/C ain't working. I'm now below $4k.

Really. That little.
Going by his thinking, my car is then worth fifteen grand.
I'd be lucky to get four...
You'd have to do lots and lots of fishing to even get a nibble at that price.

As far as I know, everything works on it...
"As far as I know..."
In other words, "Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies".

I bet everything on that car is OEM and at 90k miles they are all time bombs or already have issues.

A/C or no, looks like a cream puff to me, very nice...but 12K?, no way. Half that is pushing it, unless you really got to have it.

The moon roof is a ultra rare option that pushes desirability and value up in my opinion. That should generate more inquiries. I agree with Stan that this car probably hasn;t had any maintenance or parts replaced in decades and will require serving and replacing wear parts. The seller comments probably adds up to the A/C probably doesn't work. All the fluids, hoses, belts, etc.

Sorry. After inspecting what seems like a gazillion Formals IN PERSON. I've become extremely jaded. It now, takes a lot to get me excited. I admit it's mostly due to my anal neurosis that my cars have to be 101% mechanically perfect. One burnt out light bulb in the dash is unacceptable in my cars. A leaky gasket puts me over the edge. Appearance is a distant second.
