looked at the 65 NY today. Yep, it WAS a 70 code on the tag, but the engine was switched years ago to a 383 2bbl. Turns over nicely and is intact and complete from air cleaner down- nothing missing or removed (even A/C intact). Should run fine with just some fluids, tune-up. I would also think the 727 is worth a few bucks. The car itself is in above average shape, not too rusty at all.
No cracks in dash pad (black) Interior is gold/black. Seats are nice (split bench).
Overall, she'll need a grill, front bumper fixed/ replaced, gas tank repaired, exhaust pipes/muffs, wheel cylinders, tires.
Not a bad driver car IMHO.
