Alright guys, selling a '71 New Yorker I just picked up. The car is very complete and body is solid. All floors and subframe are very nice. This car is very heavily optioned. This car has 50k original miles!! Unfortunately, the car has been sitting for at least 10 years. The car is all there and 440 is untouched. The 440 does turn over and is free. The worst part of this car is the interior. Water has been getting in there over the years and the interior is pretty much trashed. Has the rare cassette recorder that is mounted on the trans tunnel! The original window sticker is still with the car. It's really a shame the car got to this point but it is still savable if you chose to go that route. Will make a great project or parts car. Asking $2300 obo. Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest. The sun was not working with me. Make me an offer if interested. Let me know if you would like pictures of specific areas. Thanks, John unnamed (1).jpgunnamed (2).jpgunnamed (4).jpgunnamed (5).jpgunnamed (6).jpgunnamed (7).jpgunnamed (8).jpgunnamed (9).jpgunnamed (10).jpgunnamed (11).jpg

Loaded! Power vents, sentinel lighting, power everything! Can you post the fender tag for us?

Look at the VIN, it is with an very early sequence number CH43-T1C-10001x and loaded with options, would be interesting to know about the early history. Pilot car or dealer demo or Chrysler executive car?

Vinyl roof code V1A = Gunmetal is a rare one but what is the color code A81A?
BTW, 81 reminds me of something else related to motorcycles...

On the other hand.....it has power vents and optional 3.23 axle.

i'd love to part this car.... $2,300 is too steep for a not everything I need car... for me anyway

with the VIN so low it might even be a pilot car.
Curiously waiting for the picture of the fender tag

According to the warranty card the delivery date was 11/5/70. The sticker on the door has build date of August 1970. Did these cars usually sit around that long before they were shipped to the dealer? I will grab a picture of the fender tag today. The car is over at a friends house.'71 New Yorker.jpg

Cool picture. That is before they moved to Arctic Parkway I believed they moved sometime in the mid '60's or so. In the past few years I have ended up with 3 cars from this dealer. A '71 Sport Fury, a '67 300 and now this New Yorker
