Both cars stolen from storage Lake City FL approximately Jan 25 2016. 1962 Newport is/was White 4dr sedan w/blue interior 34k original miles. 1968 New Yorker originally maroon with white, 4dr HT. If any information, please contact Columbia County Sheriff's Office, (386) 752-9212. Thanks. Doug Wooley

Say it isn't so Doug, damnit!:BangHead:
I'd join the possi if I were nearby.:mob:

The Sebring Posse is keeping their eyes open.
All Chryslers in Sebring are protected by S&W under the Stand your ground law.

Someone stole a couple of full size Chryslers? Well we've made the big time right up there with Corvettes.

On a serious note one will need to watch containers leaving the country given how ports are very nearby.

The scumbags only want the drivetrain....

Wasn't there a 413 for sales a few days ago from a 62 Newport in the mechanical parts for sale?

My blood is boiling - can you feel the spike in the temperature ? '78 is most likely correct...

UPDATE: CARS FOUND! '68 was 15 miles away in woods, 62 190 miles away in Tampa. Good neighbors? Inside job? Thanks for sharing my grief. Cars will be home soon.

Are people really getting that desperate for bb Mopar drivetrains? Well then again after checking Craig's list and finding a locked up 440 for 1200.......maybe!

Ideas/lessons learned: Store your cars inside or guarded storage. If you must store in a fenced & covered area, chain axles to front ends of you cars behind them or to the roof support beams. We attend car shows where we store some cars. and in our home county. Club members know who has what vehicles. Notify your car buddies and employ their eyes and ears. Lojack may be an option. .Networking with locals worked for us. Support your local law enforcement officers. Great work.

Haven't seen the cars yet. Still under investigation. No matter what I will end up on short end. I will end up doing retrieval etc. The 62 is at a body shop in Tampa. Sheriff knows where 68 is but won't release info. The guys who took cars say it was a misunderstanding.

Glad you've got some good news hotdog! Gps trackers have got pretty cheap in the last few years. Might be something I look into!

I'm glad you are going to get your cars back.

If there wasn't any kids around my house.....I would rig a couple of small IED's so if a lowlife tried to take my Formal's he'll end up with a hell of a headache.

Since there's kid everywhere around me....I'll have to settle for GPS trackers. LOL!

Misunderstanding...

Glad that worked out Doug!
