seen....Hemmings Muscle Machines Fury GT

With a 2.76 gear, I would be happy with a 17 something. LOL!

Maybe a 16....

Very confusing article. How many rooflines did the. Fury 2dr come with? I realize it's a clone, but the rear window looks correct, isn't that the same as the GT?
Nope, if you look at pics of the roofline of my car, it has the coupe roof as opposed to the formal roof that this car has.

No sir...I'd post the time slip but embarrassed of the RT
Consistent reaction times are practice, practice, practice. Your time and mph are matching so car is running correctly, you could be off like mine a 14.92@99.7 mph yes I have a huge lean spot that did reward me with almost 15mpg on the way home from Carlisle.
HMM is a great magazine they cover a lot of cars not just the cookie cutter you find elsewhere, great vintage racing photos with detailed captions, usually from original photographer. At least the owner did the right thing and instead of buying a new Mustang he made his old, non original car better. Nothing wrong with that.

So did GTs come with diff roof lines or this is not a GT and has the wrong roof line?

Every real GT I have ever seen came with what is being called a "coupe" roofline in this thread, although it seems the "formal" roofline - sweeps back rear ward and is very wide at bottom - was available on other Furys including regular Sport Furys I believe. I personally hate the so called "formal" roofline - way too wide and makes the back end of the car look too heavy and ruins the balance of the car. I at least would never buy a Fury with that roofline.

My earlier comment regarding the person who wrote the article was that it was a very confusing write up, rambling and bouncing all over the place - like he was writing stream of consciousness, rather than a well laid out article. In my previous engineering job, we had to write lots of reports, and if anyone wrote the way this author did, he would have been let go.

I am confused on the roof also. I thought there were 2 - the standard with the convex rear glass, and the 'formal' that had a concave glass like the rear of a 67-up Dart. The car in the article looks to have a convex glass, which the GT would have, but the article talks like it has the wrong roof for a GT. Or are there 2 rooflines that have convex rear glass, + the convex, for 3 total?

There are only two roof options. The car in the article is not a real GT, and it has the formal roofline with the concave glass, even though the photo reflections do make the concave glass not look so concave. It is not the convex glass. That is the first giveaway that it is not a real GT.

Nice car, but not a GT. If the car was delivered new with the stripes as claimed, I will bet that they were applied back in the dealer's body shop.

I really like the interior. A couple more pictures of that would have been nice. I don't like the sway bar link hanging down in the back and if you are putting in this hot engine, wouldn't you upgrade to a sure-grip rear at the same time?

Speaking of pictures.... I'm seeing more and more of that style of photography. One "artsy" type pic is fine... but the enhancement of the colors on all the exterior shots makes it look cheap.

OK, I am seeing it now. I knew the side view looked like formal, but the rear shot sure confused me, but I can now see it is concave.

I like the concave rear glass, but not how it looks from the side profile (somebody else said this too, I think...)

I can agree with that, as the only thing about this car that is impressive to me is the quality of the interior work. I may inquire about the guy doing some work for me. Even though the door panels are not correct to a Sport Fury, they seem well done, and the upholstery work on the seats is very nice.
