Hello Everyone,

I've been a member here since August 2016 and I thought it was time to check in. One of my first cars was 2 door 78 New Yorker, which I converted to propane and still have now as a parts car. My summer car is a 65 Barracuda and I'm looking for some parts to upgrade it.

Besides being a member of FABO and FBBO, I'm also a member of the Rods & Relics car club of Fort Erie and we put on a car show every summer. I've also shared some of the stuff I've learned over the years in the car-related articles on my web site.

My New Yorker back in 2004.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I went through my old photos and found a couple from the late 1980s.

After midwinter car wash.

A photo of my newly repainted car and a friend who I was visiting in Ottawa. Notice the lower body stripes.

Quite a turn of events from then to now! You have some explaining to do...:mob:

Unfortunately, rust never sleeps.

Yup.. that pic of the NYB rotted out reminds me of my youth (grew up in ON). That's what you deal with when you live in the rust belt.

Typical Wisconsin car after about 5 winters....
