Probably at a Carlisle event but ... who the hell knows for sure
My parents had a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe, St Regis that looked exactly like this one. I was only 8 years old at the time, but I will never forget that car. It was just classy and it was a great car - stylish and a leather trimmed interior and the dash mounted short transmission shift lever was very unusual. It had the 331 Hemi and a two speed powerflite automatic transmission. It is one of the cars that made me crazy all these years...........

Sky King drove a 55 Town a Country with his trusty niece Penny by his side! There is a 55 St Regis just down the block from me that has been up on jack stands for about 15 years, red and white. Doubt if Al will ever get it road worthy again!

I love these wagons. I once had a 56 Desoto Suburban with factory A/C, (Could have been dealer installed).
