Who's Running Flowmasters

I am but I don't remember which, I think the 50 series. Quite an interior drone but I do love the sound.

+1 some kinda flowmaster under there 60 or 80s there is a drone right at 1700-1800rpm on my car but you go right thru it

Swap meet 40's on the Monaco rattle the neighbour's windows but there is no mistaking the BB sound. Polara has single exhaust with aftermarket stock type muffler with 318 sounds like an EV

I had 40s under a Charger RT when I was young.

I wouldn't want those under a C-body as I love it to float down the road with original quiet mufflers

Magnaflows here. No drone and I like the sound without being too loud.

I have been running dynomax super turbo in 2.5" on the wagon for years. I love the sound, nice rumble and no drone when cruising, but they make a nice racket when you open 'er up...not offensive like I find the flowmasters. Couple buddies have gone with the same mufflers on their vehicles after hearing mine.

Which Dynomax?

Seems when I go to all the cruise nights and car events most engines sound very much alike even though the make of engine is different. I started to ask the owners of cars that seemed to have this same tone but different engines what mufflers they had. They were Flow Masters and have a very characteristic sound that comes through no matter what engine. I like the sound but it seems like they are the muffler of choice for the muscle car crowd and are everywhere. Nice sound but in my opinion a 440 C body shouldn't sound excactly like a 440 70 Cuda.

I have cheap Summit turbo mufflers with a X pipe and 3.23. No drone on the highway, sounds a little weird above 4500 from the X pipe.

Mine are the 17748 that came in the TTI kit. Same as yours, but 20" can instead of 14".

Think I measured the old muffler that was still hanging under the wagon when I got it, and just bought mufflers that were close in dimensions. Wonder if there is much of a sound difference between the different length mufflers?
