WANTED lower control arm

looking for a good lower control arm driver side for a 1968 Chrysler imperial

If this is a generic unit used on all Cbodies i probably have one.

Different ball joint so I'm thinking this will be Imp specific. I'd call Murray.

have you ever seen this before the picture is the lower control arm right next to the torsion bar go's in the arm I found the crack

I have both my lowers off right now waiting on my new bushings. I'll have a look when I get to the shop. It's hard to tell from those pics.

the crack is on the driver side .if the car was up in the air and you looked at the torsion bar just as it go's in the lower control arm it is at 1 o'clock on the edge of the arm .that why I did not see it the first time as I was trying to clean the oil and grease for under the car

Yours definitely does not look good! And definitely Imp specific. I don't know how many other years would work other than '67/8.

I have a 68 imperial parts car but it is under snow right now so I guess I have to put this on hold

Matt, is that a pic of a 68 lower control arm? If so then you are right, they are a different animal to whats used in Cbodies.
