Let's see some Wagons!

I like the 1968 Plymouth Suburban wagon.

The blue 69 I am cetain is alive. The brown 70 is not . It became a parts car ten years ago

Now I just start to remember: the blue one could be a 71 Fury, it was postet on moparts being on asalvage yard

Gawdam, you have vision.
You and I ARE going to colabarate on a joint project some day. We have to. It will be the ultimate Formal.

The Dodge lights would work in a pinch, but the Plymouth lights are one piece and somewhat remind me of the '71 - '73 Imperials. Not total continuity, but in the ball park.

Mr. C, don't take my ramblings as a put down of your wagon. It's gorgeous and I wouldn't change a thing on it. My comments were strictly from the notion that `if you're gonna customize something, don't just stop at the front'.

You also piqued my curiosity so I did some further digging. It also appears the the
Monaco Custom and the Monaco Brougham each had their own tail lamp design. Odd.

So what do you think. The Monoco Custom tail light to mimic the Imp front?

I'm both really impressed and really disappointed with the Euro design of hearses.

Impressed with the craftsmanship that goes into converting a car and stretching it, but disappointed with the design itself. I guess I'm spoiled by the look of well styled North American professional cars.

This link shows one excellent example and refers to another.

That Plymouth would look SO good if they'd used a 2dr door at the front and a proper wagon tailgate at the back.

I love wagons. Reminds me of a better, vanished time. Some wonderful examples here.

They all had vinyl from 1968-1977. I don't know if there was a vinyl delete option available. I can't recall seeing one without vinyl.
