Will got me started with supplying me with the grill and marker lights for a '69 300. I believe I have located an acceptable bumper. My question is the surround. First are they restore-able, am I corrected are they made out of fiberglass?

I havn't gotten into my repair yet, but the part that is cracked does look like fiberglass. I plan on using two-part epoxy to repair the crack and then a resin/mat mix to fill the seam. Sand, light skim coat and then paint with Argent Silver (Krylon #1403). Once it is in place it should look like new.

Thanks sounds like a great plan. Feeling better about a questionable surround than may be available to me.
