This is my follow-up story to my lead story -NEWTON'S GARAGE. Dressed in my rip-stop pants, knee high boots, and sherpa-lined flannel shirt (60 degrees today!) ...,war paint on my face...I emerged from the water laiden bogs of a wooded area located along the base of a long, long ridge. The winter thaw was taking its toll on much of the area. Hanging from my belt were the machette, loping shears, canteen, & phone. I had done battle with ferocious pricker bushes, nettles, cattails, and saplings. Thank god for winter de-foliation. I was actually able to see the thorn coming and then entering my body or snagging my shirt. I was able to see my way from one bog to the next...too bad my feet don't have eyes. Even after having been through all of this, I had the biggest grin on my face as I walked toward the office of the Junkyard.., for in my hands, I was holding thee most beautiful 343 1154 Washer Reservoir and a very restore-able Front License Plate Bracket, both for my '70 Fury. How many hundreds of miles I have driven, How many hoods I have opened, how phone calls and emails I have made, how many hours on this dang computer I have spent.......finally- Paydirt! I am still smiling, as I sit here tonight, waiting for the Ibuprophans to kick in, as I pick the burrs out of me and my clothing.
:elmer::thankyou:

Thanks guys. And to Different Angle, what you see in the photo is the right front corner closest to the camera, with the steel bracket attached to the middle of the front and then angles down with a couple of bends to attach to the wheel apron, right behind the battery. On the opposite back corner to the right front corner (furthest from the camera) are two small plastic tabs, arranged vertically, one screw through each tab into the fender apron. The lower of these two tabs also has the ground wire brass loop incorporated onto the screw hole. The pump is popped out of this tank and is hanging by the ground wire behind the boxes. The pump hole is on the bottom. I think the fact that the pump was popped may be why this reservoir survived...just a theory....and the hood on the donor was completely closed, shutting out all sunlight. But the real proof is the "Part # 3431154 on the top of the tank. (might you be thinking of the 1969 Fury/Chrysler Reservoir that fits neatly beneath the top of the fender and only the fill neck sticks out into the open? Part# 2932830 ? ) Why use a picture when you can use a thousand words?!
