Looking for the two thin horizontal UPPER & LOWER Trim Strips that go above and below the Center Trim Panel of the Deck Lid. Need to be perfect in "physical" condition but oxidized finish is okay. I will also entertain the thought of NOS, if the mortgage is not too high!
The part #'s are: 3004275(Upper) and 3004276(Lower)
These pieces where most commonly available on the VIP and Sport Fury. Thanks for looking!

Good luck. Those are made out of unobtainium. It will be difficult to find those moldings without and dents and you may be forced to go NOS, if you can find them and don't mind spending a car payment on each of them.

I know it can be hard to find these pieces, but they are out there. I am looking for a set of the rocker trim pieces for a 68 Sport Fury if anyone knows were I might find those. My driver's side is OK, but the passenger side is pretty beat up. It is not something I lay awake thinking about, but if I could find at least a good one for the passenger side at a reasonable price I would be interested.

Story of my life, I'm always in the wrong place. But, you are right and I never thought about that. I guess I'll have to go check out what's happening down in the Boxcar Years. I've just always had so much fun here! Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Slab side is such an odd name for 65-68 Chrysler cars, but I figure the slab siders are more likely to have what you want. Great to talk to someone else from the Old Dominion!

Ah Ha. You're in the same state as me. Well, I don't know if you are looking for any parts, but if you are..,did you happen to catch my post a few weeks ago about the vintage junkyard in Roanoke? It's Newton's Garage and he has oodles of early '60's to late '70's mopars. The post was titled, "I went to a new salvage yard today"....or something like that. (in Fuselage).
Speaking of Fuselage vs Slab Side...I spent some time over there on the SS forum.....I believe I'll just stay here with you Fuselage guys. The SS guys are a different breed, one that I don't think I like too much. Even though my main forte' is the '68 Fury, I hope my one '70 Sport Fury and my '72 RR clone will be my pass-card to belonging to the Fuselage Category! Let me know if you want Newton's contact info. See ya! -Richard (Oh yeah, Richmond...I see it now. Duh.)

Yes, that would be great to have Newton's contact info. Does he let you pull your own parts?

I think a 1970 Sport Fury is a passcard for fuselage. I was thinking that fuselage men would be less likely to have what you are looking for. You could still post both places. The Wanted Forum has been a help to me too.

Lucky you, I was just headed out the door for a week in Fla.. Checked computer one last time....
Newton's Garage Mark Newton, owner 1452 Lee Hwy South (Rt 11) Roanoke, Va. (more localized as Cloverdale), 24019 540-992-2351 [email protected] Tell him Richard from Grayson County sent you. Best to call and talk with him first, what you are looking for, where you are coming from.....etc, etc.....kind of get to know each other in a few minutes. He usually picks and ships himself, but if he feels comfortable with you, he may let you do your own roaming and picking. He runs a real busy mechanical shop at that location so the Pickers have to take a back seat to his real business. Suggest you try to find that thread I mentioned. I posted it either 1/22/18 or 1/29/18.., real close to midnight. Hope this helps. Bye Bye rotten weather...I'm going where the sun keeps shining! (copy on the Wanted Forum -thanks)
