I have removed all the old wiring and replaced it with a PainFull Wiring Harness. The harness is OK as far as it goes, but the section about Mopar is useless! There is nothing on the dash. I was hoping someone could tell me how to set up the charging gauge. They have nothing on warning light gauges. The old harness, seems to have #10 wire going through it and as I am replacing the wiring because I was losing the total power to my car, I would like to have the gauge work, but also a #10 wire by-passing it. Is there a problem just connecting it in parallel? Painless could not supply me with a wiring diagram for their Mopar harness, so I am thinking of having a #10 wire from the Charging gauge to a new fuse box and if I need power, run fresh wires from there. I know I need power for the windows, roof, and the headlight doors to start.

The following MOPARTS thread and the link within this thread may be helpful. If you are re-wiring the car, you should consider bypassing the amp gauge and you may also want to search for how to wire a head lamp relay set up. You may even find this by searching within this site.
