I don't know if it's being flipped or it's snow bird owned. It was here this fall, but the price was about the same. I said at the time that snow was going to be flying here and I'll bet it could be bought for much less... Perhaps someone did just that.
New York State plates with appropriate inspection and reg stickers when I saw it and now it's got a Florida title.
I don't know... Folks here have been pretty critical of it, but I got to say that it really didn't look bad in person... and it was being driven around to cruise nights and shows around here, so it ran. The rust bubbles are troubling, but the rest of the paint looked pretty good. At the time, the car was priced way too high at $18k, so I didn't spend any time on it. Now I wish I had taken the time to look it over better.
Can somebody tell me what is wrong with this car! I thought it was sold at a no reserve ebay auction and now it shows up again. It looks ok. What am I missing? The rust? It has been in NY now in Florida.
It was parked a couple cars down from us in Liverpool in 2016. Any chance that you took a better look at the car?Can somebody tell me what is wrong with this car! Yea, it looks like it sold on the auction, but as we all know, it's never really sold until someone pays the $$. It could be any number of reasons why it didn't sell. Deadbeat bidder etc. There's a lot of that. From what I see, the previous "Sold at No Reserve" auction was by the SAME seller who has it listed now and at the SAME price ($12,900) as what its current minimum bid is now listed (again $12,900).
So, it didn't REALLY sell to anyone during the previous Ebay auction. I believe that is what "Big John" was implying in his post.
