Hope to find it here.
I am looking for a period correct radiator for a 1969 Polara/Monaco with 383 2bbl A/C.
The part number should be 294 90 40 or 294 90 38.
In good condition, or for restoration. Everything is welcome.

Not what you're looking for, but FWIW a NOS 1969 22-incher (part # 294 90 47, for the 318) has been on eBay for a few months:

Thanks for the link ayilar.
I forgot to mention that i need a 26" radiator.
In a condition like the one you mentioned on ebay would be a dream.

I know, that's why I said "not what you need." I learned quite abit about Polara radiators ('69 and '70 don't interchange, for example) when looking for a NOS Ended up having mine recored -- works well so far.

Hey Martin, no I didn't know that website so far but it seems he has just what we need.
Thanks a lot, he's got mail ;-)

Don't know if this would be of interest to you or not but if you are not into numbers matching, I have a 26" one that would work for you. It is 2998 965. My interchange book shows it fits 66-70 C body cars with 440 auto and A/C. It was in my 68 Charger when I get it 3 years ago. It didn't leak so should be usable as is. There is no shrowd with it and one of the side rails is loose. Good candidate for either restore or use as a driver. Here are some pics. $100.00 + shipping.
PS: Now that I looked at the pictures I just took, it appears there is some evidence of leakage near the bottom. I don't recall any fluids leaking when I got the car though.

Hi Sixpactogo
Thanks for your post+offer, but I am looking for a matching number radiator.
The one who is installed right now, is from a 1968 C-Body Dodge with 440/AC. It works perfect, no overheating problems in any kind.
The "problem" is, that it fits not 100% under the bonnet. The radiator seems a little bit to high.
The hood knocks on the pressure cap when I close it. I assume that the upper watertank has a slightly other proportion than the correct one for the 1969 modelyear.
Besides that, the 68 radiator is proper installed. The fan shroud fits, fan blade sits right in the middle of the fan shroud. And the hood is correct installed too.

Finally. This took a long time.
After months and years searching and looking for an original radiator for the Dodge with the 383/2bbl engine....
After paying good money to a cheater, who offers via the internet a cr*p radiator,
supposed to be the right one for the car....
After further looking and following hints....
Here is the result: A rebuilt, like new and period-correct 26" radiator ready to install.
Boy, am I happy. Christmas comes very, very early this year ;-)
Thanks to all the people who helped me with offers and support.
