Uncle Charlie's Fury

Damn. Never saw this thread. That car blew my head off. I'd be buried in that friggin thing.

Great question, should have been R36 correct? But it is R35 .....
I would have probably sold a few cars for this one

don't know what the sales code for it was but it would have been a SOOOOOOPER rare combo with the sunroof!!!

each one of these options were VERY uncommon and to have both together is a miracle

I have some NOS microphones for these

2 types were used from 1971-73:

1. coiled cable #3501534
2. non-coiled cable #3501046

the microphones are the easiest of the parts for the recorder to find.... the plastic shrouds/pedestals and the unit/knobs itself are tough to find

..... I'd be buried in that friggin thing.

Maybe that's what happened since this story "went dark" (fine print in the will not noticed before).

Hopefully they drained the car's fluids before putting it six feet under, to avoid any ground water contamination.

Uncle Charlie's Fury is still in my possession. It resides in a heated and air conditioned garage.. Uncle Charlie is still kicking and frequently asks about his Fury. There are no plans to bury the car.

There's a NOS unit available on Ebay for 2450 USD which would require a service and hopefully work. Seller is nos_bill aka Brad's NOS Parts.

Whilst it'd be nice to have in my 73 Imperial, its half the cost of my car LOL, don't suppose Marty has any of these?

Good to hear that.. Heated garage, that's what it deserves

Couldn't help but notice this pic and think .. From this....

Thanks for the update and photo. Glad to hear that the car will remain above ground (that was just an outrageous joke hoping to generate some new attention).

The last known attempt at burying a Plymouth didn't go so well (at east the preservation aspect of that attempt):

buried 1957 Plymouth time capsule unveiling, 2007

And to think that there is at least one in the smaller picture that I don't remember having the pleasure of meeting.

I knew you were just joking. I was joking back. I think that 1957 Plymouth brought a lot of sadness, and in some cases, outrage. Did I hear that someone was going to attempt to restore that car?

An attempt was made to derust the car by a company that distributes the solvent. Was turning into an epic FAIL so they stopped.
I have no idea where the car is today.

Uncle Charlie says it came on the truck with everything you see. He said you couldn't count on the accuracy of window stickers. They received a shipment of Dusters and Demon's in the early 70's that had 3 speed transmissions listed on the window sticker. All six were actually 4 speeds. This was just one instance.
