Too late. I just got off the phone with Tom. He literally just saw it drive away on a trailer to Indiana.
I would have bought it had I seen it sooner. 20 minutes from me. Damn!

I dont understand, if you procrastinate you'll miss out . If you have an interest in a car there is 1000 more just like you wanting the same car . If you wait to call, buy , send money, you'll lose out. My dad does this all the time then bitches when the car sold to someone else. You see a car you have an interest in, call the number!

Well said. You snooze, you lose.
I just saw the ad here, and called before even reading the next post

Could that possibly have been a "TNT" engine? I don't know how to identify one

I believe the 69 Imperials came with the dual snorkel air cleaner. Not a TNT as the vin states:
VIN: YM23K9C211606

I didn't want to excite the masses, but that was the correct air cleaner for factory dual exhaust (not TNT cam). Atop a very original looking engine, sold by a guy who doesn't know how to sell.

Dual snorkel/dual exhaust was a RARE '69 option. Standard internals. Don't know what exhaust manifold were used, probably standard logs. 360 vs 350 HP

The seller, Tom told me he's got a green 67 Crown Coupe for sale too. Didn't ask about it.
His number in in the CL ad if interested.

Anybody notice the bug eye car next to the Imperial in the first pic? HaHa!

The bug eyes go on your (US) account. It could have looked nicer otherwise but wouldn*t have developed a cult following.

Personally I'd still consider it a fair deal if it's solid and the 440 has truly been freshened up
