I just scored a 74' monaco that has been kept in a garage for a long time but unfortunatly the weatherstripping is brittle around the windows, does anyone know where i could get new window felt and weather stripping?

Ferghedabboudit...
No NOS
No Repops
Every yard in the country has been scoured and what few were left in decent condition have been scooped up and hoarded. Any yard that still has any are probably worse than yours.
The usual solution is that Restration Specialties has stocked specifically for us guys a weatherseal (GM, I think) that is close and sells by the foot so you fab your own using the factory mitered corners and the stamped ends.
RE: Whiskers:
Restoration Speciaties also.

Really? Have you looked in EVERY yard to see what is left an in what kind of condition it ALL is in? :eusa_think: ............................................................... ............................................:eusa_snooty: I didn't think so.......There is always something there, look harder.

I figured due to the rare nature of this car it would be a SOB to find parts for it. Thanks for the info

I;m pretty sure the B Body sedan stripping is the same. Easy to find lengths of that

rubber

I used universal stuff. From Precision Rubber Products AS1336
bar code 75000457 750457 96 inch. it fits in real tight and you have to make a cut so the corners form the angle. I made several small slits until it was square to the corners...don't cut it through the ideal is it remains one piece. Mine was slightly larger than stock bit its real tight seal

you may need to make yourself a company name to register.
