Anyone Else Getting Ice Cold Weather?

Laura turned off her car after it was running for 10, maybe 15 minutes, "Now it won't start".

We've lived here for 40+ years and she hasn't learned to keep a car running when it's -30°? Somehow it was my fault. She looked at me funny when I said I'm not even trying to start my car until tomorrow, when it gets to 0°, you know, when it's warm.

Learned that lesson years ago, when it starts leave it run!
I'm not even going to try to start the truck, it sits outside and I'm warm inside. If we have to go somewhere, then I'll try it.

And she relies on that damn remote start, "it won't start". Some get to bundle up and go start it and clean it off. Glad my car doesn't have that, they never seem to work at -20 or lower. ​

I was going to go out to the store as I'm getting low on milk but when I took out the trash a couple of hours ago it was warmer then it is now and with the wind still blowing out of the north at a steady 13mph here in Daytona Beach Floriduh think I'll stay home and take a nap!

About time you guys get a taste of regular temps from Nov to Mar we get up here in Northern Canada......;) Was -15*C with a nice windchill easily into the -20's while I was outside working last night.....;)

I don't plug in my old ramcharger plow truck and it fires off in cold temps no problem. Should take a pic of the motor and engine compartment white from being covered in frost! Still fires up within a couple cranks.
