Received my emissions decal today. I need a pic showing correct placement on a 1969 300 w/ cruise control The cruise amplifier blocks normal placement.

The pic I need is the location of your emissions - tune up decal. Usually located on the left front fender well. As previously mentioned must have cruise control.

I see it now. Many thanks for bearing with me. This is a tremendous help. Outside today putting in the front inner fenders. Dave

Yours is a '70. He's asking about a '69. Are they in the same place?

I don't know...I was only trying to help. I stated that the pic was for a 70. David Hill can go with it or not if he has any doubts, or maybe someone else will proffer a pic of a 69.

Has anyone EVER seen a green emissions sticker on any Mopar EVER that wasn't on the left fenderwell?

But I can tell you that the red heater hose, red ground wire (WTF???), the silver VR, and that green ignition module ain't right!

Now I'm curious as to whether mine still has its sticker or not? An original California car, it has the CA emissions on it. I should look.

Been driving it the last two days so I could go look - but I didn't today. D'oh!

Location of the sticker for the 71 NYer. The 69 300 is missing the sticker, but you can tell by the pic where it used to be...

I’m thinking that there is no “absolutely correct” location for the sticker, as long as it was on the left fenderwell and visible.

I drove my car to work again today and thought I'd pop the hood and take a look. But then I remembered that I had a picture of the area in question on my computer. I looked at it just now. You can see the remains of the sticker, and look, it was green!

I have seen them all over the place within the same year, plant etc...

Mine (without cruise) would fit within the space forward of the cruise,
There is one posted here above the cruise,
Another behind.

If you have no evidence of where it was then you are the new guy on the line told to put it on the left wheel liner, do what pleases you or is easiest or...

In complete agreement here. There is no set place for this sticker....I've seen it all around the "general" location of the center of the fenderwell, both slapped-on crookedly and with a nice, square "east-west" application.

I don't think they thought about it too much. Boss man said to ya on your first day: "Slap it on the left fenderwell, so it's visible."

But having said that, if I was dealing with placement on a Cruise car, I'd kinda want to know if it was typically in front of or behind the control unit.

Looks like it's typically behind.

Or not! :p

One could troll the internet looking for pictures (from sales sites) for different 69s (Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge). You would probably need to avoid 70 as the washer bottle was mounted differently. Even then if you could find pictures you might learn what has been said, they are all over the place.
