Nice car.

ATC II.....pass.

Maybe $10-12k on a good day.

This car was for sale on another FCBO ad for $35k a few days ago.

Nice car, but with lean burn, ATC II, agree with 1978NYB worth about $10k. Both of those systems are more trouble than they are worth. Have not seen many this nice though. Probably parked after the lean burn crapped out and A/C quit working.

Hi Guys....Back on track again! Anyway, I'm going to shoot this guy an offer. He claims original tires and I'm guessing mechanical problems from sitting for a long time! Any advice?

The factory tires are going to be junk after this many years. If it sat for many years, you can anticipate problems with the brakes and fuel system. Hoses and belts are likely in need of replacement also. It probably had issues with the lean burn that caused it to be parked in the first place. ATC II will need to be serviced and cannot be relied on to work for very long.

Point of all this is do not overpay! You are going to spend some serious cash to get this car road worthy.

With the seller's outrageous asking price somewhere out there in Delusional Land, do you really feel as if he would listen to an Fair Market Value offer?
I wish you luck, tho...

Would the factory tires have had that wide of a white wall? The photos don't have any close ups of the treads so no real telling from here if they're at least bias or radials. My guess is these are not the original tires. It doesn't matter anyway, you wouldn't want them in the first place.

Thanks! The guy emailed me and said make an offer! It ain't going to be anywhere close to what he's asking....NOT EVEN CLOSE! Thanks guys for the advice.

$5500 American tops! Damn center molding really screws up the body lines! Drivers seat has nice leather but for the mileage the padding in the seat looks a little flat! Would expect to see that on 40-60K mile car. The Lean Burn is also going to be a problem IMO... But nice car/interior just the same.
