For my '69 300 with front drums. Want to replace the bleeder nipples, but need to know the size. Going to put in some 'speed bleeders'. Going to change out my rubber brake lines for some new ones. Old ones are cracked, making me nervous.

Speed bleeders make life so much easier when bleeding the brakes. Have them on my motorcycles, truck, and old 'Vett. I used to bleed the brakes for fun on the 'Vett...it's that easy lol.

So if anyone knows the size, please advise. Thanks!!

Get quality speed bleeders!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not know this and got some cheap ones from Rock Auto and they stripped the hole in the brake cylinder!!!:mad::mad:

Wow, that sure doesn't give much details does it. You better give them a ring to be sure.

That's what I'm thinking. I have their number in my cell now. Will call in the AM.

I like SS lines. I know on my old Harleys, I switched from rubber to SS lines, and you can feel the difference at the lever, so thinking same thing for these.

Yea I can remember when SS brake lines first came out on the motorcycles, everybody just just had to have them... I use to practice 60/70mph panic stops on my motorcycles quite regularly, learn to find when both front & rear wheels would lock and skid, Lifesaver IMO.

All with the stock rubber hose, I did upgrade to the DOT 5 silicon brake fluid and only once did I have a problem with that.

OK, ordered these prematurely.

Some may know I'm doing a drum to disc conversion. These are too small.

What is the proper size for '72 calipers? They are bigger than the drum ones.

Also, what is the crush washer size? New brake hoses didn't come with crush washers.

Thanks!
