That's a pretty common site around here. The amish go to the Mississippi river to fish off the the floats at the lock and dams or pan fish on the river. First time I saw that it was like... what the heck?!?

OK, in Illinois and Indiana I’ve watched them pull up in a Ford or Dodge 15 passenger van and all get out and walk into McDonald’s. So much for shunning modern conveniences.What do the "omelettes" do? Attach the horse to boat and have them pull them around in the water?

They wont own a vehicle, but they will ride in them.
