Hey, everyone! Sorry if this is kind of a silly question. lol One of my front turn signal bulbs went out on my '67 VIP. I tried to get the bulb out yesterday so that I can replace it (didn't have a ton of time to mess with it), but I couldn't figure out how to get it out. Should it just pop out of the back of the turn signal housing, or do I need to take the whole turn signal assembly out from behind the grille to access it?

You need to remove the assembly. My recall is that there are 2 nuts, 1 on each end of the housings that need to be removed that are attached to screw like studs. The socket does not come off the housing.

Perfect -- thank you for the quick response! I'll mess with it when I get home from work today. I did notice the two screws/studs when I was looking at it yesterday.

Two screws on the lens, remove those, then pull the lens. Push the bulb into the socket towards the back of the car, twist the bulb to the left (counter or anti clockwise depending on where you reside). To insert new bulb, the exact opposite.

On 67 - 68 Furys the lens mounts BEHIND the grille. The above instructions apply to lenses that mount in the bumper or under a bumper.
