Within the last few years I discovered a Cars song with Benjamin Orr singing (It's All I can Do) and felt sad to learn that he had already died some time before (cancer).

The Cars are on my Ipod playlist of 'great artists/great albums'.
75% of the album hasta be good or it ain't on that list.

he died naturally from hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and pulmonary emphysema was also a contributing factor

Just got done listing to a bunch of there songs, I didn't realize how many good songs they had. They had a few different sounds over the years, between Ric and Ben. I still remember the album cover with the little cars and the the woman's legs sitting on what looks to me is a Chevy Nova. Some things a kid don't forget!

The Cars, my favorite band back in my high school days. Still play it loud in my garage, cranks me up! Always hoped for a reunion even with the loss of Benjamin, guess that will never happen now. True loss...

Died at the young age of 75 today.

Not for hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. He obviously didn't take good care of his health and so he was headed this way eventually.

Hey Ric 'Keep On Laughin'! It only took about ten tabs of YouTube videos to remember my favorite (so many) Cars/Ric Ocasek song of all time.
