The same adjustment knob seems to have been used on all cars with tele-scopic wheel (a REALLY cool option, IMHO) with different "caps" according to model. At any rate, you don't see NOS knobs very often...……..

Haven't paid a lot of attention to those in the past, the one on my '67 is chrome...….

THe "collar" locks/unlocks the steering column, and allows you to bring the wheel closer to/farther from the driver, that is the "telescopic" part. While this is a cool feature, it requires a different turn signal switch, which for some reason are MUCH harder to find than the standard ones.

I’ve never seen another one of these in NOS. It would cost more to have a used one rechromed and it still wouldn’t come out the same as factory NOS. There are so many small details, you wouldn’t be able to fix those areas if your original had pitting.
