They voted some crazy fuel surcharges in last year. Some guy did a recall petition and it failed because the state attorney general changed the wording from repeal the gas tax to defund highway construction. This was how the gov’t idiots got what they wanted from the idiot voters. Now the state has billions in surpluses to build - wait for it - - - light rail & bike lanes.

It is crazy. Everyone I know voted to repeal the tax but out here the mob rules. That’s why everyone is leaving. When I no longer have a company truck and a company fuel card then maybe I will too. Right now we really don’t pay much for fuel. My wife is 8 miles from her work & fuel cost doesn’t really matter as far as I’m concerned.

As a Canadian, I love winter driving, and driving in the rain too. Some people find other ways to get around.

I left 3 years ago because of Draconian, unconstitutional, and other B.S. laws, plus the state doesn't like Veterans at all! Best move yet!

True story and yes you can skate on the roads here this week....

During the big snow of 79 in Chicago, cops were stuck everywhere, while people were illegally cruzin around the streets and runnin errands on snowmobiles. Cops couldn't do a thing to stop it till the plows cleared the roads days later.
