After 2 years of trying to sell this car, decided it’s time to part it out. 1973 Plymouth fury 4dr. Rusty roof and bad exhaust system are the only things wrong with it, everything else is mint on this car. 360 engine and 727 trans were recently rebuilt with new torque converter and started. Will sell parts starting January 12th, 2020. Would prefer local pickup of parts in San Jose, CA, but will ship parts or deliver to the Spring Fling in Van Nuys, CA next year. Please pm with any questions.

Did you list it on this forum and for how much? 360 cars do not generate much interest for parts, but I would think it would have to be worth much more as a complete vehicle. It is not a bad looking car.

I agreed with Dave above...
Also, if you have it listed at a price that generates little interest
then try lowering the price...
Quite frankly, the time and effort won't be worth it to part out
with not a lot of return....

Yeah, I had listed it multiple times, everyone kicked the tires and moved on. I should have parted it sooner, would have saved a bunch on storage. I had prices decent, but nobody even was interested. I’ll try selling whole one last time, then it’s getting scrapped (this why I put a date to when I part it). Probably going to keep the drivetrain, always have cars needing those.

It has been listed a few times here, unfortunately no one seemed interested. It's a shame because I've seen what appears to be worse cars saved. I hope someone decides to take it on as a project. If it were closer, I'd be buying that windshield.

How much buys the whole car?

I wanted $3k, went to $2.5k. Decided if I couldn't get that for the whole car, I'd part it out. I'm looking at a 1941 Plymouth Project for my dad and that drivetrain will save me a lot of parts scrounging. Now it's my last c-body. the last 4 c-bodies I sold were junk cars and sold in the same price rage (car market out here is insane right now). Lien sale papers don't help on the sale.

To be honest, if I could get $2k and keep the hubcaps, I would be good with that. Gonna list it on Craig’s and eBay tomorrow and see what happens in a week.

Were you able to sell the whole car or are you still going to part it out?

73 four door is a rough sell. I had a comparable car. Same color but no rust. Couple dents. Seat not as nice. I finally got rid of it at 600. Buyer drove it a 100 miles home on the freeway. I did swap it to drums which killed most of my interest when it was at 1k. Hated to sell it but couldn't store it.
Now I have a two door and wish I could swap parts from it. Such is life . The struggle is real.

Hi all, yeah I’ve been busy with work so sorry for the late replies. I’m going to list it one more time, then it’s getting parted out afterwards. I believe the dash is the same for both years.
