Just thought his car looked cool, although the price is up there.....................3 speed manual, flat head 6, doesn't look like it needs restoration.

I have always felt that these 1959 instrument panels, especially the instrument clusters, always looked too expensive for the Dodge level of price class, especially on the low line models.....................

Very nice! I just wish the front end didn't look like it was so pissed at something:rofl:

Isn't that the place that had a huge fire a couple years ago and lost a lot of cars?

I'm glad there still in business if it is..they had lot of neat cars at one point.

I love the looks of the '59 Coronets. My brother has one he's restoring. I plan on showing him this and spark the flame of desire....

Blue heater hoses and the white walls gotta go

Even if it is a bare bones car,you cannot restore it for the asking price.

1959..Last year for the flathead and a year before any domestic econo boxes came along. (Valiant,Falcon,Corvair)
So,if a farmer needed a car to go to church or town, or if your job provided you a company car,or just wanted basic transportation (other than the Beetle) this was the car.
Ya gotta give the flathead 6 some credit. It was used by Chrysler since the 30's and a lot of moonshiners drove Plymouth/Dodge flatty's before the dawn of the V8.
Pushbutton automatic is cool, but there are a couple generations out there do not know what the 3 on da tree is!!
With no radio, armstrong steering and no power brakes, this machine will command attention from the driver and also by onlookers!!
I would keep the dog dishes and narrow whitewalls.
I would go blackwall if the wheels were white.

I think an upgrade to wide whites, (I would choose radials), and correct wheel covers would be on the menu.

Your correct though. These cars had to be driven, Not just a "ride along" like todays vehicles.

I have a 1966 Windsor sedan drivetrain donor* waiting for a car like this. I'd swap all the mechanicals over. I would also do a partial repaint to 2-tone it.

*The 66 is an Ontario car with rotten body and frame, in case that's your issue, @Newport 66 .

For me, the two toning it would only happen if it were a non-post car......................
