Looking for a color?

Had the car been painted before?
If so,would it be possible it may have been painted a Phord or Generic Motors color?
What is the color code on the fender tag?? or is the pic from the world wide web?
My opinion is I am leaning towards the 69 Q5.
pic is from www

That's it! Hope you don't mind if I steal that color? I doubt you'll ever see the Frankinfury in Alberta.....
Funny that you say that. When I saw the car below, it pushed me into the turquoise from burgundy. That car was/is in Holland, and I didn't feel that they would ever end up side by side. I asked the owner what code he used.

Shy away from KK1, it is homely on the car. It might look good on the chart.

I really like turquoise cars, but KK1 doesnt work.

I think we're gonna go with the 69 Q4.
Let the flaming begin, suffering from CRS. Now that I've dug into it a bit more, what I actually ended up with was not Q4 (for the same base/clear availabilty issue), but the 1994 Dodge Aqua Pearl metallic, code PQE.

I realize this is a long shot and I'm opening myself up for some possible grief, but any chance one of you folks who live & breath mopar might have an idea if this is a stock color? We really like it and have been scouring over the old paint code charts trying to find a match.

Looks a lot like the Miracle Auto Turquoise Blue Metallic from the late '70's.

Hi Clay just wanted to chime in from Mexico. My thoughts are go with whatever colour you want it’s your car. When I did mine I had lots of people say I should have painted it a different colour and it will always be that way. I went with original more for sentimental reasons. One is that was the colour the car came with and secondly my dad had a fury II with the same colour. I happened to learn how to drive on that car. I have never regretted the colour I chose. Hope you are as happy with your decision as I am.

Understood! And I love your car BTW! But I'm dealing with SHMBO and she's locked onto the Blue/Turquoise scheme.
