1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

Saw this 72 at the CMC show in 2016. At first, I thought it was one of the white Imperials just posted, but I don't think it is.
The black 65 300 in the background is a 4 speed car.

Looks like gold top, side trim, and interior, though the top is faded.

IMO, this one needs only wider WSWs, new vinyl top and fender skirts.

It's the only time I've seen that car around here, and it just disappeared. Not typical to see 2 at the same show.

He was parked 20 feet from me. I was under my canopy near my cooler a good part of the day and never saw anyone by the car except the onlookers.

1972 Chrysler Imperial Sedan 4D for sale in Valparaiso on Facebook Marketplace

I somehow remember seeing this triple-black before, but can't find the link. In any event, the ad was posted on FB a week ago (or perhaps re-posted, the photos are clearly from another season):

"440 big block, new Holley carb fires right every time, needs a new brake light switch but is very driveable, rides like a cloud. Some rust on body not major, has a large dent in passenger door from previous owner, found a new door shell for 350$ door still opens and operates fine. Interior is very clean, headliner and glass all perfect. Comes with extra rear bumper and some other spare parts along with factory shop manuals. Radiator rebuilt, new idler arm, has new tires on front. A little over 100,000 miles odometer just rolled over last spring. Come test drive. Clean title."

Running gear gone, but definitely worth grabbing for parts if you already own a nice one of these.

Went back 10 pages. Any reason you never see fully restored ones for sale? Besides buying paint by the 5 gallon tub?

I do my best to put my name in the hat for the clean ones. I lost one last month that was pretty nice. I never give up. There will be more nice ones out there if you're patient.
