This looks like the first unit I bought back in the early 1980's.
Worked great until it grew legs & walked away one weekend along with the rest of my tool box.

Actually have another one no book. $50 shipped lower 48.

Actually yes against a signal generator that is calibrated!

I remember reading on one of the forums that you worked in the cal lab in the service, (Navy?) so I figured you'd know where I was going...

I was a Avionics shop Chief in the 129th SOW (USAF) at Moffett field, got a pmel certification on torq wrenches and some other equipment to calibrate on base. Man we had over 200 wrenches due every 30 days, Big PIA!

Yep, I used to be partners in a calibration lab with a couple of ex Air Force PMEL guys. Calibrated enough wrenches myself... and gage blocks, surface plates etc. I don't miss it. Still find myself doing surface plates in my sleep once in a while.

I hear you. Kind of like doing the meters on occasion. Never in the world did I think I would find a calibrator. From what I could find out it is what Mac tools used for their repairs.
