Hello looking for a Clean or a cracked Black dash pad to restore, for my 69 Monaco with A/C
Just checked the transport costs to send in mine from Switzerland... Way too high so i ask here for a clean one or one i can send to justdashes in California for less Transport costs

Thank you very much

Yes found nearly everything Used or NOS
I re upholstered the Interior and found a correct E code 440 HP engine that is at the Maschine shop right now... I need to finish the other projects first. Like to begin the resto this year probably summer or autumn

When I last talked with Bob Baker of ABC Moparts, he was in the last stages of making these pads I believe. You might want to check with him first rather than send your pad to Just Dashes. Their work does not impress me.

Got the response from m. Baker from ABC
They don't make 69-70 Dodge Dashpads...

Had one done from justdashes a few years ago and it was pricey but correct, do you have other sources for dash rebuilts?
Also a steering wheel restoration company mine is Black and clear and some cracks in it...

Thank's

Last time Bob was at my place he was certainly talking about it. He bought my B7 blue 69 Polara 500 vert (loaded with just about every option including bucket seats/console, power windows and with the 440HP factory engine in it but no a/c) that had a really nice pad in it, so maybe he decided he didn't need a repro himself and didn't see a business case given the low sales of C body dashes he has had.

There is a company called RD Autoline that is headquartered either in Sweden or Finland, can't recall and they also make some of the best dashpads I have ever seen. I have bought 4 pads from them for my Forward Look cars. Maybe they would be interested in doing some of the pads Bob has decided not to do then. They would be worth a call IMO. They too make excellent pads, much nicer than Just Dashes will deliver at less cost too if they agree to do one.

One of the issues with the 69 Polara pad is the stitching, most don’t want to deal with it. Just Dashes was pricey but very well done.

Stitching plus the speaker grille, too? Plus the need for the woodgrain trim on the DH models, or capabilities of adding it?

The one in my DH43N0D looks "deflated" from age/heat.

Thanks,

The sticking is the issue on the 69s. They don't have wood on them like the 70s.

Just Dashes can do the speaker perforation, I told them not to as I don’t need it (no dash speaker on CHP cars) and I saw it as a week point of failure.
