Not surprised but this is very disappointing. My clubs show and swap hasn’t been canceled yet just moved forward a month to the end of May, we’ll see....

Hearing NOMM may be in late July???

Still on for September 20 th?
I’ll know for sure pretty soon but it’s not looking good. Even if we make it into phase 5 tomorrow we would still be limited to 250 people....

Thanks for the update, Matt.
Detroit Area Auto Modelers also cancelled their indoor show at Macomb County Community Collage in November. Fingers are crossed for the February WPC Meet, held at the same place....

2020 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Cancelled Due to COVID 19 Concerns

Governor Pritzker Limits Indoor Events to 100 People or Less

Due to ongoing safety and health concerns as well as the State of Illinois regulations, the MCACN team has determined that it is in the best interest of all involved to cancel the 2020 event, scheduled for November 21-22, 2020.

“It is with a heavy heart that it is has been deemed necessary to make this tough decision” stated MCACN Managing Member, Bob Ashton. “We know that we have all been hoping for the best, but with the uncertainty and the current State of Illinois limitations regarding spectators at indoor events, it is not feasible to continue with the show this year. The health and welfare of our families, spectators, participants, sponsors and staff is a priority and of utmost importance.”

“We want to thank all of the loyal enthusiasts and sponsors who gather annually in Rosemont to share the passion and stories which bring us together” Ashton stated. “We are now shifting our focus to produce our biggest and best show when we return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, November 20-21, 2021.

All previously announced 2020 Invitational displays will be featured in 2021, along with several new features, including the Class of 1971 Invitational. “Being able to focus not only on 1970, but also 1971 will allow us to produce an even better show and build on the excitement of 2019” Ashton said.

Those who were invited and accepted for the 2020 show are encouraged to join us in 2021, pre-approved. Priority will be given to all car owners and vendors who rollover their entry. Online applications for the 2021 show are now being accepted, with anticipation of an early sell-out.
