aside from color is the 66 monaco/polara kick panel the same as the 67 newport? im having trouble with the PN in the books...interior stuff confuses me with their letter codes.

You would be better off with a lighter color. Are you in a hurry for these? I may have some green ones in my storage unit but lord knows when I will be able to dig them out.

I have 2 sets of green...converting everything to black...found a cheap set of FB and thought I'd pick them up unless it's easier to dye mine black and have it last.

well damn...they were already painted and needed repainting. might as well stay with my green ones and paint them or keep looking for black. pretty sure there are a couple sets in the local yard.

If you are cleaning up your interior you are probably going to want to paint them anyway. A junkyard find will likely be hazy and need touched up anyway.

How chalky are yours? You need a good clean surface for the paint to stick too.

Not chalky at all on either set. Good shape overall....

I just did that, in fact I painted the entire rug front to back with the same paint and it turned out beautifully. Run your hand across the carpet and you can’t even feel that it was painted.
