Does anybody here have expierence with these?
My car is lower than stock,

I don't want something that hangs way down. The exhaust that's on there is already a problem with some speed bumps.

We unfortunately do not have experience with C-body Hedman's, but we do have experience with B-body Hedman's. We got our Hedman's for I believe $400.00-450.00, and fit relatively well but they did have a couple clearing issues. They left side header had a bit of issues with clearing the steering box, and the right side header had a bit of issues with clearing the transmission pan. Those issues were fixed and now fit fine with no more issues

I also came across these Sanderson shorty headers that claim to fit a C body. I like the weight savings and not having the flange down low. May be a pain to change a gasket though.

Sanderson's don't fit on a C Body without modification to your power steering box. I know, I have a set I'd like to sell.

Using Hedman's on the 401 Gremlin. Work well. They are a bit low but we've never hit anything with them.

You don't need headers on the street.
Headers are useless on the street.
Expensive way to "look cool".

Thanks for the input. I don't know who needs 50 year old Chrysler products. But I have 3, because I think they look cool.
When you want to build power with one, the log manifolds are on the top of the list of things to go.

I have a set of the Schumacher Tri-Y Headers, perfect fit, great sound and performance but I think they have quit making them. I have also used the TTI Headers for the C Body, excellent product and fit and their exhaust system is great too but not cheap. Headmans look interesting if they will fit a C Body correctly.

go tti. they will fit and clear everything. may need to go with a mini starter if you don't already have one on it.

I don't want to get off topic and into an argument here but I don't think they clear "everything" as you claim imho. Here is my reasoning, there are problems with most headers and yes tti is a very good product, and yes they sound badass, and yes everyone raves about them. But In my opinion B-body Hedman's fit better than C-body TTI's. In our experience the TTI's we put on our 67 Fury II sedan we had to make modifications, and yes we had to make modifications to our B-body Hedman's also but not much as TTI. Both our B-body and C-body header cars do have mini starters, but with the C-body with TTI's we had to put a dent in the header to clear the spark plug boot so the boot could go into the plug itself but they cleared without other issures. The Hedman's we had to clear the steering box and transmission pan but they cleared without issues otherwise. Just one guys 2 cents

I've had to bang on any header I've ever put in a 440 power steering car.

Do you have b or rb engine? Cheap 1 3/4 b body headers fit from below with no banging on a b block.

Well that a to of info to digest. Thanks.
I had not seen the TTI or the Schumacher tri y.
The TTI's are real deal long tube headers and look sweet. More than what I need, but those are probably dyno proven for sure.

I like the tri Y, too bad they stopped making them.

I have modified a few sets of headers and that is fine when you are working with what you have.
If I had to cut a purpose built header with coating my mind would melt.

I would like to see the flowtech brand put out something mid length.
I bought a new set for a chevy last year because they were cheap and mid length. They fit great and had thick flanges. Most cheap sbc headers encroach on the plugs and bolts.
Different story with an RB mopar though.

As I said, I do have a set of Sanderson Shortys if you want to do some fabricating on your steering system.

Yes, but you bought 'good' headers :D
Seriously, no idea the brand or lineage of the ones I used in my fury, they were a random used set of b body headers I had and they didn't interfere with anything on a 383 and ps, if you installed them from below after the engine was in. Full size or mini starter, had both over the years.
Would never work as is on a 440 tho.

Mini starters in all of our 3 cars with headers, this example is in our b-body project. The last picture is of our stroker 440 engine. Could you explain a bit more when you say the "good headers"
