Question: while driving the New Yorker yesterday, I noticed the fuel smell coming from under the hood, after further inspection I see fuel weeping from the hole on the side of the mechanical pump. There’s a new pump by 6 months or so. Is the pump bad or did it pick up trash somewhere in the line causing it to leak from this hole? So I know going forward, what is this hole for? Or is the pump missing something.?

do you have your old one? were there any problems with it? if not, then that would be my choice for best quality available in 2020. cool car and a great story by the way.
