Hi. I plan to use this thread for the parts I need in my restoration. I will always update the first post when I discover some more parts that I need.
For all orders made here I will provide the US delivery address, so don't worry about the international shipping.

Currently I need:
- Rear seatbelts

b1qbjRB4irs.jpg

- Interior door panels (in a daily driver or better condion) and/or bench covers of the same tone if possible.

iQny_ZoTeI8.jpg

- dashboard airvents - to the left of the steering wheel (btw, could someone tell me please which device in this configuration is superfluous and not stock?)
- upper control arms - left and right

... i all add some more WTB stuff soon

If you have anything feel free to message me.
TY in advance & cheers

what colour interior parts ?
Unfortunately, the original colour and design of upper parts of door panels/seats were changed by previous owner. However the bottom part of the panels is still black and looks original.
Since I will have to change the cover of benches to something more original and less pretentious, I will consider panels of any tone in good condition. If you have the same color of bench covers - it is interesing too (well, I didn't check the construction of the benches yet and not sure that there is such a thing as covers on them:confused:) Thanx.

UPD: added some photos to the top post to make all the stuff I need a bit more visual.

Thanx, marko. The image is really helpful.
Definitely, I would love to return the stock vent to its place. If anybody has one, please let me know.
Also my vehicle doesn't have the vents in the righ corner of the dash. There's a factory plug on its place. However, I was able to find the vents from upper line models. I think it is a must have for driving in a rainy/wet weather.

Using the opportunity, I would like to specify if Fury I has the side/waterline body trim/moldings. My car has no side trim currently.
Am I right that Fury I doesn't have the side trim at all, the Fury II has the side trim and the Fury III has the side trim + chrome arch moldings + sometimes Brougham package in a form of moldings installed at the bottom of the doors?

It seems that this image presents the full set of possible trim except the brougham package.

I'm just trying to figure out how my vehicle could look like when it rolled out of the factory and what part of trim should I look for in future.

TY.

Thank you for the image, MrC and I definitely check the hamtrack link.

What about this plate? Is it a marker of the top level trim or something else & optional? The most of the 74' cars I saw were with the simple steel/plastic plate and not the chrome one.

Fury III or Gran Fury. You can see in the pic above that the Fury I and II trim level had a Plymouth script on the painted gas filler cover.

the blank off plate / plug on the right is because your car doesnt have air conditioning. if it had a/c it would have vents there.

If the Moscow you mean is in Russia and not the one in Idaho: did the car originally belong to the US embassy?

an american car in russia wouldn't only have to have belonged to a US embassy..... even when new

in the 90s Crown Victorias were officially imported from US for Russian (mostly Moscow) Militia and were used as police cars for some 7-10 years.

If the Moscow you mean is in Russia and not the one in Idaho: did the car originally belong to the US embassy?

The previous owner of the car was the chief architect of Tosno. The Tosno is the small city not far from the St. Petersburg (the 2nd largest city in Russia). But you are right - the most of the foreign vehicles including the US ones were available only to the embassy employees, the government representatives and some celebrities up to 1985 when the changes called perestroyka began and finally destroyed the regime six years later.

marko, indeed FCV's were imported to Russia in 90's to serve as the police cars. Now the service of the majority of them is ended. The first part of decomissioned cars are sold to private owners, the second part went to junkyards. However, there still may be a few FCV's in Moscow that still serve. However, the last time I saw it was in 2014. Not sure what about today.

To add, I would say that in 90's other Russian cities have a few Caprices 9C1 as a police cars.

All Caprices are decomissioned as well from the service, however the most of them are still alive in the hands of the new owners.

Yes, some interesting Formal Furys among the pictures in your link. I think there are three pics of an embassy car, possibly the Finnish embassy.

A US embassy car would have some extra armour, just in case. Maybe your fender tag says something like "special order". The fender tag will also tell you about the factory-installed heating system. I bet you have H41. In that case you don't need to look for extra vents and cut up your dashboard, because H41 came without the side vents.

The "Plymouth" trim piece for the gasoline door was not used on 1974 Furys. That was for the 1975-1977 Gran Fury.

The provided links direct to the digital community which members are trying to restore the data of classic cars in USSR. The most of them were indeed the property of embassies. As far as I know there was an Imperial '72 owned by the embassy of Japan. But I wasnt able to find a confirmation for this data. 80% of USSR cars didnt survive till these days or survived in the barns and half-abandoned storage as a piece of almost non-repairable rust.
What is the fender tag? All I know that my vin has an L-letter which means that the vehicle has the lowest possible trim with no a/c. I am not sure about the idea of installing the a/c from the upper models, but the additional air vent with warm air could be helpful in the rainy/dusky weather. If the plug could be removed completely without any damage to the dash, maybe I should give the additional vents a try. Still thinking about it. Thankx for the info btw

Not to hijack your thread, but the information on the cars in Russia is very interesting, as I was in Moscow last year. Saw a 66 Mustang on the streets but that was the only vintage American car I saw there.

I hope you were able to have some fun here. The local and national analogue of Google (the Yandex company) has a carsharing service. As an experiment they bought 2 Mistangs for the users of the service with high rating. Not sure if it was a good idea, because soon the one of the Mustangs was seriously damaged in a car accident. Some pix are here: Мустанг Яндекс.Драйва попал в ДТП с Яндекс.Такси. Теперь в каршеринге только один ретро-автомобиль - Трушеринг (no Eng text unfortunately).
As for the question why there is almost no US classic cars imported into the country after 2003, I can write a separate post if it is interesting.

In this example picture of a 1974 LeBaron:

you can see where the fender tag should be located also on your car: in the lower right corner in this picture. If it's not there anymore, bad luck. If it's there, please upload a picture of it and we can analyse the codes together. H41 was standard equipment, so even your PL = "Fury I" should have it. H51 and H53 were optional a/c installations.

Thank you for the info. As soon as I get to the car, I'll check the tag. However the car is not in original paint, so there are chances that it is under the post-original layer of paint

UPD: Well, the fender tag almost unreadable, unfortutanely.

M-WlAGhNemI.jpg

I wonder if I can make it more readable using WD-40, carb cleaner or something like that.
